Ta Smallz is back with his appropriately titled, “High Off Life”CD/DVD.  After the passionately debuted album, “Bizzy Bone Presents: Ta Smallz Who Killed My Mama?” Ta Smallz shows you how to handle negative circumstances that come up in live in a positive manner to become successful and happy in life.  Ta Smallz’ new album “High Off Life” is a CD and package that will take you on an audio high and give you a euphoric feeling that you’ve never felt. Ta Smallz has been touring the United States with the biggest recording artist and industry legends.  Ta Smallz has been arranging tours and opening up for tours such as the “Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Resurrection Tour”, “Welcome Home Flesh & Bone Tour” and the “Bizzy Bone & B Real Unite The Mic Tour.”  He has been doing shows and spot dates with artists such as Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Tyga, T.I. and the list goes on. 

Ta Smallz is now headlining his own “High Off Life U.S. Tour”, which is coordinated and funded by himself and his record label, Life Entertainment.  The roster on the tour consists of some of the hottest upcoming rappers to hit industry icons–Layzie Bone, Bizzy Bone, Flesh & Bone, New Boyz, Cali Swag District, Gucci Mane and Waka Flaka Flame’s new recording artist Joe Moses.  Ta Smallz’ goal is to connect with the crowd through his highly energetic performances. Ta Smallz (birth name Donte’ Carter) was born into the music business in Canton, Ohio.  At a young age, Ta Smallz’ parents moved him and his brothers to the bay area of California to pursue their dreams in the music career.  On a December night in Richmond, CA, his mother was killed at the young age of 24.

Ta Smallz moved back to Canton, Ohio where he continued to sing and dance, signed a choreography and artist development deal with the group Levert (Son of the Ojay‘s).  He toured the United States doing shows with the group and did such television shows such as Arsenio Hall, Rick Dees In the Night and more.  Touring at a young age taught Ta Smallz learned how touring and booking shows worked, leading to him to grow skills in coordinating and planning live concerts.  While on the road touring Ta Smallz auditioned and was signed to multi-platinum producers and recording artists Evan Rogers and Carl Sturken (Founders of Rihanna and signed to Jay-Z’s Rock Nation).   Ta Smallz teamed up with Carl and Evan and landed a record deal with Island Records for the group he was in with his brothers.  

As soon as they were signed, Island Records dissolved to Island Black Music leading to Ta Smallz pursuing his own record label which he accomplished in 1999 by signing a deal with Lil Joe Sony Records.  Between 1999 and 2004 he put out successful compilations with him.  He grew as a label executive and started working closely with Birdman of Lil Wayne and Young Money Cash Money Records doing shows and collaborating.  He also hooked up with hometown friends Bizzy Bone and Layzie Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, where he put out his last two releases which consist of the new album, “High OffLife”.  The album features Lil Wayne, Birdman, Layzie Bone and Bizzy Bone of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, E-40, Ben J of New Boyz, Yung of Cali Swag District and more.  Ta Smallz is a philanthropist.  Through his music, he wants you to get a better understanding and appreciation for life.  Life means living in faith every day and love is in full effect.  Let’s stay High OffLife!  One love, one life.
